King Khalid International Airport (in short: KKIA) is the largest airport in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KKIA uses a Kolibri control room solution with dispatching and AVL for their critical communications.

The first Kolibri system was commissioned in 2014. In the spring of 2021, as part of our Support & License Renewal service, the Kolibri system was upgraded after nearly six years of use without issues. The upgrade was done remotely by us together with our local partners Waves Middle East and Modern Building. The system is now up-to-date and can be used for years to come.

Our Support and License Renewal (SLR) service includes supporting our customers, analyzing problems, providing advice, and delivering service packs and new releases. With the SLR service, a customer can rest assured that their Mission Critical communication is in good hands!
